Buying a phone in Nairobi without the guesswork
Most people who walk into our shop already know the phone they want. What they want to know is whether it is the right one. An iPhone holds its resale value better than almost anything, and iOS updates keep coming for years. A Samsung Galaxy S or Fold gives you the bigger screen, the zoom lens and more freedom to change how the phone works. A Google Pixel is the one to look at if you care mostly about photos and clean software. We stock all three, plus Nothing and OnePlus, and we will tell you which one fits how you use your phone.
The newest Apple launch is always the busiest. If you are weighing the latest models, our iPhone 18 page lists every storage size and colour we hold. If you are not sure whether to upgrade at all, read the buying guides first. They are written from questions customers ask at the counter, such as how much storage is enough, whether the Pro is worth the extra, and what to do with the old phone. Browse every phone on the smartphones page.
Laptops, tablets and the rest of your desk
A laptop is a bigger purchase than a phone and people feel it, so we slow down for it. Students usually want something light with a battery that survives a full day of lectures. Designers and editors want a bright screen and enough memory. Office users want a keyboard they will not hate after three hours. Look through the laptops and MacBooks and tell us what you will use it for, and we will point you to two or three that make sense instead of twenty.
We also carry tablets, including iPads, Samsung and Google models, and a few made for children. Pair a tablet with a case and a charger from the accessories section and you are set. Monitors, keyboards and other desk gear are in the catalogue and searchable, even if they are not in the main menu.
TVs, gaming and sound
For the living room we sell Samsung and Sony TVs in sizes that actually fit Kenyan homes. A bigger panel is not always better. Sit two metres from a 98 inch screen and you will regret it. Ask us about the room and we will suggest a size. If you play games, the gaming page has PlayStation 5 consoles and games, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and VR headsets. Our guides cover which PS5 games are worth the money and which console suits a family.
On the audio side there are earbuds, headphones and speakers, from AirPods and Galaxy Buds to soundbars and portable speakers. We also stock smartwatches from Apple, Samsung and Fitbit, cameras and gimbals, and a few smart home devices.
What the warranty really means
This is the part we want to be straight about. A brand new device from us carries the maker's warranty, usually between six and twelve months depending on the brand. Ex-UK devices carry a three month store warranty. Refurbished items are sold as refurbished and carry no warranty. We write which one it is on the product, because the price difference only makes sense if you know what you are getting.
Before you buy a phone from us or anyone else, check its IMEI with the Communications Authority of Kenya. For Apple devices, you can confirm coverage on Apple's own coverage page. A shop that is happy for you to do that is a shop worth buying from. Our full terms spell out returns, exchanges and warranty claims in plain language.
Trade in your old device, or get it repaired
Your old phone is worth something. Our trade-in service gives you a value you can put straight towards the new one. Bring the original box, your receipt and your original ID. The device has to be switched on, unlocked and not factory reset when we inspect it, because we test the battery and the screen on the spot. Everything is in the trade-in policy.
If the phone is worth keeping, our repair service handles cracked screens, tired batteries, charging ports and water damage for phones, tablets and laptops. You can book through the form and we confirm on WhatsApp.
Payment and delivery across Kenya
Pay by M-Pesa, cash or bank transfer. In Nairobi we can deliver the same day, and orders above KSh 100,000 ship free to all 47 counties. Outside Nairobi we ask for full payment before dispatch and send the device by courier, with updates until it arrives. Prices on the site are not inclusive of 16 percent VAT. The details on timing and returns are on the delivery and returns page.
Some items on the site show Price on request. That means the model is coming or we are updating the price. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm stock and the price quickly. Watch the Black Friday page for seasonal offers.
